AAF aims to raise awareness and educate healthcare professionals on amyloidosis, to improve patient outcomes and prognosis.

OUR VISION

Amyloidosis is a frequently underdiagnosed and underappreciated condition that impacts multiple organs. Despite its potential severity, it often goes unnoticed in its early stages due to vague initial symptoms.  


At AAF, our focus is on highlighting the significance of early detection and intervention to improve patient outcomes, and for that reason, we have undertaken the responsibility of educating and raising awareness on the disease.

OUR MISSION

At AAF our mission is to develop educational programs and resources to augment healthcare professionals' knowledge of amyloidosis, including its various forms, symptoms, diagnostic tools, and treatment options. 


Launching targeted awareness campaigns to ensure that medical practitioners consider amyloidosis as a potential diagnosis when patients present with relevant symptoms.


Finally, to bring together teams of interested participants to conduct further research on the topic, contributing to the knowledge base the world has on it.
